Each Class meets for an 8 week session, meeting once a week for 1 1/2 hours. Classes larger than 8 students will be broken up into smaller sections allowing each student and dog to receive as much individual attention as possible. Dogs and handlers will learn the basics of agility. All students will be introduced to all the agility equipment and learn how to perform each obstacle correctly and safely. Handlers will learn basic commands and motivational techniques to help lay a solid foundation of good agility skills. Next we will move beyond the basic execution of the equipment to sequencing and obstacle discrimination with off-leash control. Guidelines for Admittance Dogs must be at least 1 year old and in good health with proof of vaccinations. Dogs that are aggressive towards dogs or people will not be admitted. Female on heat is not allowed in training ground. Dogs should have successfully completed a basic obedience class.
