Why must basic obedience come first before agility training? All dogs need to have a good foundation of obedience before agility. Agility is an extension of obedience training, if your heelwork control is not accomplished properly, you will not be able to get the dog to run at your pace, not to mention jumping on to the pause table to stay for 5 sec & controlling him well in the whole circuit. |
