Since 1990, Lucas Bong had been working as a private consultant focusing on
dog sports training, helping clients on behavioral management issues for their dogs with customised home based private training programs & conducts different levels of both pet, compeititive obedience group classes. In 2004, he founded Smartdoggy Services to offer a wide range of canine services for dog lovers to achieve Wonderful Dog Companionships In Singapore.

Lucas is a Certified Competitive Dog Trainer, with Positive Clicker motivational dog training skills & vast knowledge of canine behavioural science. Specialised in Agility Dog Sport and has extensive experience in training and handled many dogs of different breeds, ages, and temperaments. Since childhood Lucas has grown up & owned a variety of breeds from Mongrels, X- Breeds, Toy dogs, Terriers, Military working dogs (Labrador Retriever, Belgium Shepherds, German Shepherd Dog, Dobermans) & Border Collies, which fill up most of his life.

Lucas’s passion in the dog sport began in 1990. He have successfully competed & won championships in many areas of dog sports including SKC, AKU Obedience and USDAA Agility Championship Trials and Confirmation Show Ring. He is the pioneer in local Singapore K9 Frisbee Discdog scene & A Freestyle Discdog Performer. Very often recieving invitations to perform at the yearly SMU Paw's Animal Day, SPCA World Animal Day, Singapore Utility DogClub Championship Dogshows & Various grassroots events. In 2005, Lucas have also conducted a Clicker dogtraining & Understanding Canine Behavioural Body Language Seminar for The Singapore School for the Deaf (SSD), educating a group of 200 hearing handicapped & speech impaired dog lovers, owners to better communciate, train & manage their pets. 

He is a PA registered & Certified trainer. On a regular basis, as a solution provider for dog owners whom adopts dogs from animal shelters, Lucas is frequently being recommended by SPCA, various Dog shelters & Dogs Re-homers to help rehabilitate abused fear aggressive dogs, re-introducing them thru a proper humane training program & make these dogs much adoptable, as well as settles well into their new homes. 
On precision work for competitive dog obedience, he is an accomplished master for Open level & Utility trials Competitive Obedience dogs, achieved in Companion Dog Excellent (C.D.X) & had won the titles of Maxi Agility Dog of the Year in 1993 & 1994 with his Border Collies. Recent wins from SKC, USDAA Agility rings includes 1st placings Champion wins on the International Tournament of USDAA Steeplechase & GrandPrix Masters Agility. Winning is not only amongst his own dogs , but also his growing numbers of Agility dogsports students of different breeds, height group gaining Agility & Jumpers Championship Titles.

Lucas was also a Professional Certified Canine Handler & Advanced Skilled Trainer with Singapore Provost Military Dog Unit for Aggressive Dog Management & Conditioning; Narcotic & Military guard dogs during national service. He represented Singapore Arm Forces in 1994 to compete & had Champion the competition in The National Trial Service Canine Competition against Singapore Police Dogs Unit & Singapore Prison Dog Unit for Advance Obedience, Agility & Guard-Dog’s Protection/ Attack Work. A breeder as well under the kennel name of Snowchampz, he has spent time on the whelping box raising Border Collies puppies since 1996.
